Such a neighborhood gem! I love that everyone from all walks of life seems to enjoy Cafe One- on an average day you'll see CCNY students and teachers, workers on their lunch breaks, and neighbors of all ages. The service here is great and all the staff are knowledgeable and consistently really friendly. The coffee is strong and good, and the well stocked pastry case always hits the spot. Their prices are unheard of for New York (in the best way). They get pretty busy in the mornings given their proximity to CCNY and the train, and for good reason, but always handle the rush pretty smoothly. I haven't tried their food yet, but if everything else is any indication, it'll be excellent.

Café One is definitely a gem I will return to. The coffee here was refreshing because as a Colombian Native it reminded me of our coffee. Perfectly blended and not too bitter. The staff was quick and the place was clean. I thought to get a muffin and I'm happy I did because it was moist and better than I expected. I hope to spend more time next time I stop by and recommend that if you're in the area you try it out 100%

Café late and egg cheese avocado sandwich. Very good. Price is reasonable too. Staff are nice and kind. Atmosphere is good also. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Ordered takeout a few times from here and always had a great experience. If there is anything they don't have in stock they always call to let me know and ask if I would like to switch for another item. Great prices, everything is always packaged well and food tastes great. My absolute favorites are blue velvet cake, pistachio macaroon and almond croissant. White macadamia nut cookie and bagel sandwiches are also good. Will definitely order from here again.
